SteelAxis in Lusail, Qatar, seeks an experienced Baker to join its bakery team. You will prepare breads, pastries and cakes, ensuring quality and consistency in every product. The role requires good English and a commitment to food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities include following recipes, monitoring ovens, decorating pastries, and maintaining a clean work area. Accommodation may be provided and opportunities for growth exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be from Pakistan or Egypt with a valid biometric passport.
• Proven experience as a Baker with knowledge of various baking techniques and methods.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
• Good understanding of food safety practices.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity when decorating baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake various types of breads, pastries and cakes according to recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust baking times accordingly.
• Decorate baked goods with icing, glazes, fillings or toppings as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Order supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen.
• Train new bakers on proper techniques and recipes.
