Job summary

An IT services provider in Qatar is seeking an Azure Cloud & Application Hosting Engineer responsible for ensuring the high availability and performance of applications hosted on Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in IT and over 5 years of experience in Azure administration. Key responsibilities include managing cloud applications, implementing strategies for monitoring and recovery, and collaborating on CI/CD initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Azure administration and DevOps environments.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Azure Administrator certification is an advantage.

The Azure Cloud & Application Hosting Engineer ensures high availability, reliability, and performance of applications hosted across cloud and on-premise environments. The role covers deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hybrid infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, deploy, and support web applications and databases on Azure Cloud.
  • Implement monitoring, scaling, backup, and recovery strategies for hosted applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and conduct performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and disaster recovery requirements.
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and maintain integrations between cloud and on-premise systems.
Requirements
