Job summary

Qatar University’s College of Nursing is inviting applications for Associate Professor / Professor positions. Successful candidates will deliver lectures, supervise clinical training, participate in simulation sessions, and mentor students within a research-driven program.

The role requires a PhD and Master's in Nursing, a valid RN license with Qatar eligibility within 6 months, and a track record of academic and research excellence.

Qualifications

• PhD in Nursing and Master's in Nursing from an accredited university.
• Valid RN license and eligibility for a Qatar health practitioner license within 6 months.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience as RN plus 2 years teaching in university nursing programs.
• A distinguished record of academic and research achievements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical lectures, supervise mentoring, clinical training, and medical simulation sessions.
• Provide academic guidance to students and help develop and evaluate curricula and study plans.
• Build a funded research program, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and promote research partnerships.
• Participate in university committees and provide professional services to the community.
