Job summary

Qatar square is seeking an Assistant Videographer to support our videography and production team in Qatar. The role is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities on set, lighting setup, and equipment preparation.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with basic camera and lighting equipment, physically active on set, and eager to grow in content production. Prior videography experience is preferred, with flexibility for different shooting locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the videographer with preparing and setting up all equipment before shoots.
• Set up and adjust lighting to meet the videographer's requirements.
• Prepare cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, microphones, and other gear.
• Ensure equipment is ready, charged, and functioning before each shoot.
• Assist in moving and organizing production equipment on set.
• Support on different shooting setups and quick changes during production.
• Maintain and organize equipment after shoots.
• Follow on-set instructions to ensure smooth shoots.
• Keep the work area professional and organized.

Position: Assistant Videographer

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and organized Assistant Videographer to support our videographer and production team during video shoots. The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic camera and lighting equipment, be physically active on set, and have a strong interest in videography and content production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the videographer with preparing and setting up all equipment before shoots.
• Set up and adjust lighting equipment according to the videographer's requirements.
• Prepare cameras, lenses, tripods, gimbals, microphones, lights, stands, and other production equipment.
• Ensure all equipment is ready, clean, charged, and functioning properly before each shoot.
• Assist with setting up and organizing the shooting location.
• Help with camera and lighting equipment during filming.
• Assist in moving, assembling, and dismantling production equipment.
• Check batteries, memory cards, cables, lighting equipment, and other accessories before every shoot.
• Help prepare the set, props, and required materials before filming.
• Support the videographer with different shooting setups and quick changes during production.
• Maintain and organize production equipment after each shoot.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment when traveling to shooting locations.
• Follow instructions from the videographer and production team to ensure smooth and efficient shoots.
• Help maintain a professional and organized working environment on set.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of cameras, lighting, and video production equipment.
• Previous experience in videography or production is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic lighting setups is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on different shooting locations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Organized, responsible, and able to work under pressure.

Pay: QAR1,000.00 - QAR1,250.00 per month
