Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager

Location: Qatar

Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing all finance and accounting activities related to freight operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, proper accounting controls, timely reporting, and effective vendor management. This role provides critical support in financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting to facilitate decision-making and maintain compliance with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting tasks, including reviewing revenues, cost of sales (COS), and trial balances to ensure accuracy.

  • Manage freight accounting and revenue review, ensuring correct and timely invoicing.

  • Prepare, analyze, and present freight-related accounting and management reports.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide relevant reports to management.

  • Review freight payables accounting and maintain proper internal controls.

  • Maintain effective vendor management for all freight-related suppliers and service providers.

  • Review monthly trial balances and ensure accuracy of freight-related accounts.

  • Support internal controls, cash management, and adherence to company financial policies.

  • Consolidate and prepare group reports, including monthly closing activities.

  • Perform additional accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.

  • 5–6 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in freight, logistics, or oil & gas operations.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
