Job summary

A distribution and manufacturing company in Qatar seeks a Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience, strong knowledge of IFRS and Qatar tax laws, and proficiency in ERP systems. Excellent analytical and leadership skills are essential. This role involves optimizing cash flow and ensuring strategic financial insights for business growth.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in finance, preferably in distribution and manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Qatar tax laws, and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls for both entities.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with Qatar regulatory requirements.
  • Manage working capital, banking relationships, and cash flow optimization.
  • Monitor cost structures, pricing strategies, and profitability of operations.
  • Establish strong financial policies, controls, and risk management practices.
  • Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

The candidate will be responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making to support business growth of our distribution business, manufacturing unit and facilities management company in Qatar. Must have a strong knowledge of IFRS, Qatar tax laws, and financial regulations. Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls for both entities.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with Qatar regulatory requirements (Taxation and IFRS).
  • Cash Flow & Treasury: Manage working capital, banking relationships, and cash flow optimization.
  • Cost & Profitability Analysis: Monitor cost structures, pricing strategies, and profitability of manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Internal Controls: Establish strong financial policies, controls, and risk management practices.
  • Business Strategy: Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CFA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in finance, preferably in distribution and manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Qatar tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
