The College of Education and Arts of Lusail University in Doha, Qatar, is seeking to expand its program widely and internationally. We invite applications for an Assistant / Associate / Full Professor position in the Counselling and Mental Health program. The search for this position is underway immediately.
The successful candidate will teach introductory and upper‑level courses in the Counselling and Mental Health program. The assistant professor teaching load is four courses per semester. Courses will be delivered in formal Arabic; candidates must be fluent in both English and Arabic.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling, Mental Health, Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Rehabilitation Counseling, School Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, or a closely affiliated field by January 2025. ABD candidates may be considered as lecturer rank. The terminal degree must come from a university in the UK, Canada, US, Australia, or EU.
Position is for an Assistant Professor. ABDs will be hired as lecturer rank with higher teaching loads. The semester begins August 2023.
