Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an AOR-Wide Communications Engineer. This position will be located in AUAB, Qatar and will be an on-site position.

Responsibilities

Provide AOR wide engineering support. The contractor shall:

• Design, produce and implement IT solutions to integrate systems into AFCENT enterprise;
• Troubleshoot, and optimize theater communications systems;
• Research current and emergent technologies;
• Provide analysis on technical specifications, limitations, potential implementation, and recommended courses of action.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
• Clearance Required: Secret
• Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering from an accredited university
• 10 years’ practical experience in support of communications electronic systems or equipment; have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, understand IP routing and architecture design, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks
• 6 years’ engineering experience in: information technology; IP Network Design and Architecture Development; RF Communication
• Satellite Communications; Telecommunications; Tech Control; Command & Control (C2) System
• 5 years’ experience in military communication systems

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• TS/SCI Clearance

Posted Salary Range

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Pay Range: USD $95,000.00 - USD $126,000.00 /Yr.
