Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic– Light Maintenance to be based in Doha, Qatar. The role involves performing maintenance in a line/light environment under supervision, following AMM, IPC, SRM, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include transit and routine checks, A-check support, AOG response, troubleshooting, component replacement, and proper documentation in MEL/CDL and AMOS systems.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fault isolate using approved manuals and data.
• Experience with line/light maintenance tasks and relevant tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform transit, daily and weekly checks in accordance with approved maintenance data.
• Support A-check activities within the approved scope of work.
• Respond to AOG situations and ensure timely recovery actions.
• Carry out troubleshooting and fault isolation using approved manuals and technical documentation.
• Perform component replacement, adjustments, and minor repairs within authorized limits.
