Job summary

Tooba Wood Products Factory in Doha is looking for an accountant to set up and run its books from the ground up. You will establish the chart of accounts, bookkeeping system, and production costing for a woodwork and furniture manufacturer.

You will record daily transactions, manage payroll, perform bank reconciliations, and handle AR/AP, monthly P&L, cash flow, and management reporting, with records ready for external audit and bank requirements. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with Tally/QuickBooks/Zoho Books and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up the chart of accounts and bookkeeping system.
• Record daily transactions, purchases, sales invoices and payroll.
• Bank reconciliations and production-related costing.
• Accounts receivable and payable follow-up.
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow and management reports.
• Prepare records for external audit and bank requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up the chart of accounts and bookkeeping system
• Record daily transactions purchases sales invoices and payroll
• Bank reconciliations
• Job costing and material stock control for production orders
• Accounts receivable and payable follow-up
• Monthly P L cash flow and management reports
• Prepare records for external audit and bank requirements

Salary up to QAR 2 500 per month plus accommodation transportation health insurance and return air ticket every 2 years as per Qatar Labour Law

Requirements

• BCom or accounting degree.
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, joinery, fit-out or contracting.
• Tally, QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
• Strong Excel.
• English required, Arabic an advantage.
• Currently in Qatar with a transferable visa or NOC.
• Able to join immediately.
