The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance across our group of specialised companies. Responsibilities
  • Manage all accounting transactions and day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing key financial insights to management.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements in Qatar.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support a smooth and efficient audit process.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
  • Proven professional experience working as an Accountant, preferably within a holding company or a multi‑entity environment.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards (IFRS), and financial reporting.
  • High proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) would be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in the media or creative industries is desirable but not essential.
