Job summary

Client of Angel Gulf Jobs is seeking an experienced accountant in Doha, Qatar to manage ledgers, payroll, and financial reporting. The role involves processing invoices, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely financial closes.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and ERP skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work within regulatory guidelines. Candidates should be ready for a dynamic, team-based environment and regular financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in ledger maintenance and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of financial statements and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
• Create financial documents such as bills invoices pay-orders payables receivables and purchase orders.
• Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts and correct them.
• Manage payroll activities and release salaries.
• Coordinate and manage payments and billing details of external service providers and vendors.
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements and reports.

• Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks
• Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions
• Create financial documents such as bills invoices pay-orders payables receivables and purchase orders
• Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts tracking them to the source and correcting them
• Manage payroll activities and release salaries
• Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers contractors and vendors
• Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank
• Create daily reports for management and team members
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit loss statements
• Report on the company s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
