Aufgaben

• Develop and distribute content for presentations, articles, blogs, press releases, and social for Al-Mujadilah team.
• Ensure content aligns with key messages, style guide, and tone for target audiences.
• Support Public Relations activities, respond to media inquiries including emergencies, and provide information to news media.
• Assist with media activities, media training, and interviews prep; coordinate between speakers and media outlets.
• Draft, edit, and design Al-Mujadilah’s annual reports with team support.
• Assist the Executive Director with critical communications to stakeholders.
• Oversee workshops design, coordination, and facilitation by the comms team or others.
• Identify speaking opportunities for leadership and assist with speech writing.
• Monitor news coverage and maintain clippings files; liaise with emergency services agencies.
• Oversee website content development and updates; manage social media content generation and editing.
• Plan and coordinate Al-Mujadilah events and conferences with team collaboration.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Key Result Areas:

• Develop and distribute original content for presentations, articles, blogs, press releases, and social for Al-Mujadilah team
• Ensure that all content review aligns with the Al-Mujadilah key messages, style guide, and tone to ensure consistency and relevance to target audiences
• Support the Public Relations activities for Al-Mujadilah, respond to media inquiries, which may include emergencies, and provide relevant information to the news media, generating positive press coverage of departmental activities.
• Help with all media activities, media training, and interviews prep and coordination between speakers and the media outlets
• Draft, edit, and design Al-Mujadilah’s annual reports with the support of relevant team members.
• Assist the Executive Director with all critical communications (letters, emails & presentations) to various stakeholders
• Oversee workshops design, coordination, and facilitation organized by the comms team or other teams
• Identify speaking opportunities for the leadership and the team and support with speech writing
• Monitor news coverage and maintain files of news clippings, representing the department with other emergency services agencies
• Oversee the website content development and updates
• Oversee social media platforms’ content generation and editing
• Plan and coordinate Al-Mujadilah events and conferences in collaboration with other Al-Mujadilah team members.
• Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of study.
• 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience in Communications and Public Relations.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
