Job summary
A leading international accounting firm is seeking an experienced Accountant and Tax Manager to join their team in Viseu, Portugal. The role requires strong leadership and project management skills, with a focus on compliance and team development. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have proven experience in accounting or tax outsourcing services. A passion for technology and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting/tax outsourcing services or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting/tax principles, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage delivery planning and economic project management.
- Ensure compliance with legal documentation (AML, KYC).
- Supervise team performance and development.

- Project Management: Responsible for delivery planning and economic project management. KPIs monitoring. Compliance with all legal documentation (AML, KYC).
- Planning: Responsible for the detailed planning of the projects. Project planning monitoring.
- Automation: Keep track of all automation initiatives in the Firm. Enforce their application.
- People Management: Responsible for leadership and professional development of your team. Develop and retain individuals identified as talent. Prepare performance reviews. Act as technical reference for your team. Work supervision and deliverable monitoring.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting/tax outsourcing services or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting/tax principles, regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in Business Central.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting/tax software and financial management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
