Job Summary

Join our team and help us drive excellence in welding capabilities at Tetra Pak Processing Equipment in Tomaszkowo, near Olsztyn, Poland. We are currently seeking an eager welding expert specialist to support the factory in maintaining quality standards as well as developing cutting‑edge welding technologies. You will be responsible for driving industrial projects and providing subject‑matter expertise to our technical and production teams.

This is a temporary position due to maternity cover until 30th of June 2027.

What you will do
  • Develop new welding technologies and drive technology transfer projects
  • Develop and implement WPQR and WPS
  • Monitor welders’ performance – examining and certifying welders
  • Maintain a register of valid welder competence approvals and WPQR and WPS
  • Maintain a register of welding quality
  • Develop local procedures necessary to meet legal and company requirements
  • Lead or participate in improvement activities to improve welding quality and repeatability – non‑conformities and corrective actions
  • Participate in a global network of welding coordinators to ensure core welding competencies
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14731 and ISO 3834‑2
  • Provide training for our welders (Lead Welding Academy development)
We believe you have
  • Master of science in welding engineering, material engineering or material science
  • IWE or EWE and VT qualifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of welding standards and materials engineering
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Knowledge of MS Office, AutoCad and Inventor programs
  • Ability to organise own time
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills
  • A minimum 3‑years of experience as a technologist or welding engineer
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English
