Web Developer (Content and Email)

Katowice, Poland. (Initially Remote on B2B contract)

Note: This role will start as fully remote and then potentially Hybrid 3 days in office after 6-9 months

The Role:

We are seeking a creative Web Developer with a primary focus on building Email and Web Content Pages to work with our product and marketing teams, across a number of our websites. You will have around 2-3 years experience, however we are primarily looking for people who love creating pages in HTML and have a genuine design flair. If that's you, then we love to hear from you. You will be involved with multiple projects, working in a results-based environment. We value good communication skills and the ability to challenge conventions. The ideal candidate will have strong HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap 4 skills, along with keen attention to detail. There will be opportunities to learn new technologies including Web front-end JS and Web Applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain HTML emails and public-facing web pages using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
2. Collaborate with the design team to quickly translate mock-ups and wireframes into responsive, functional HTML emails and web pages, applying good SEO practices.
3. Handle multiple projects/campaigns, communicate delivery updates to founders and team members, and present/demo new features and modifications.
4. Write clean, efficient HTML and CSS, continually seek improvements, and debug and resolve technical issues as needed.
5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

1. Mid level in CSS, HTML (2-5 years).
2. Mid level in Bootstrap, jQuery or similar frameworks (2-5 years).
3. Mid level in creating HTML email templates for delivery to various email clients.
4. B1 or above English communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to integrate popular extensions, focus on solving problems and proposing your own solutions.
6. Strong UX design skills with attention to detail, experience working from Micro or Figma wireframes.
7. Ability to work to a specification and deliver exactly what is required.
8. Structured approach with the ability to keep Jira and Confluence tasks up to date.

Nice to have:

1. UX design experience creating high fidelity prototypes.
2. In-depth understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
