Job summary

Newxel is seeking a Visual Designer to join a small creative team. You’ll craft 2D environments, backgrounds, props, illustrations, and campaign imagery, blending traditional design skills with AI-powered generation to bring stories to life.

You’ll collaborate with the design lead, producer, and animation team to deliver high-quality visuals that match each project’s established style, while staying proactive, detail-oriented, and able to turn ideas into polished assets in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Strong 2D design and image-making skills with solid understanding of composition, lighting, colour, and typography.
• Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Hands-on experience with AI image-generation tools such as Midjourney, ChatGPT, Nano Banana, Seedance, or comparable tools.
• Strong prompt-writing skills and the ability to guide AI tools toward a specific visual direction.
• Ability to think in 3D space and design environments, props, and visuals that fit a coherent style.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Independence, ownership, attention to detail, and proactive communication.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment.
