Experimental research involving the synthesis of heterometallic complexes and the investigation of their decomposition into ceramic and glass-ceramic materials with potential applications in immobilization of model radioactive waste. Selected systems will also be investigated as catalysts for simple organic reactions. The scope of the work will include the physicochemical characterization of the synthesized precursors, decomposition products, and resulting materials using spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR, and Raman), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-DTA), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and electron microscopy (SEM/TEM). The responsibilities will also include the analysis and interpretation of experimental results, as well as the preparation of scientific publications, patent applications, conference papers, and presentations.

Specific Requirements

Requirements:

1) Experience in inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, catalysis, or materials chemistry, as demonstrated by scientific publications.

2) A PhD degree in chemical sciences, engineering, or technical sciences is a mandatory requirement.

3) Experience in the synthesis of materials for electrochemical or photocatalytic applications, as well as in applied research in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis.

4) Experience in structural studies, including X-ray structural analysis, phase analysis of materials using PXRD, crystal structure solution, and the use of CCDC software and HighScore+.
