Job summary

MicroHabitat is seeking an Urban Farming Coordinator to lead urban agriculture projects across the region. You will plan, set up, supervise, and manage food production areas, while coordinating with sales and marketing teams and educating diverse clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, client communication, safety, and process improvements; requiring a degree in agriculture or related field, English fluency, and familiarity with common office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in agriculture, urban agriculture, horticulture, environmental sciences, or sustainable development.
• Experience in mobilization and workshop facilitation.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Familiarity with smartphones, MS Office, Google Suite, and video conferencing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead urban agriculture projects across the region and manage client accounts.
• Plan, set up, supervise, and document food production areas.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and operations; deliver education workshops.
• Ensure safety, quality, and reporting for each production site.
• Recruit and supervise installation teams; monitor performance.
