Job summary

Altrad Alpha Wind Services seeks a traveling Wind Turbine Technician to perform maintenance and installation work on wind turbines at various job sites across the United States.

The role requires climbing towers, using hydraulic and diagnostic tools, and ensuring safety and quality in all tasks. Travel is 100% with flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, to support offshore and onshore wind projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year wind industry experience, or 6 months plus Wind Technician program, or 3 years general technical experience.
• Proficient with hydraulic, power, and diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to read and understand drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols, turbine service and installation procedures.
• Climb wind turbine towers daily with proper safety gear.
• Diagnose and perform maintenance and commissioning tasks on turbines.
• Operate tools including hydraulic, torque and diagnostic equipment.
• Document work and assist in QA/QC inspections.
