Job summary

Jit Team is inviting a Senior Data Engineer to work with a premier Nordic financial group on an AML platform for capital markets. You will shape a greenfield architecture, build high-performance pipelines, and implement rule-based detection for multiple asset classes, including FX, equities, derivatives, and bonds.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) and SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with distributed computing platforms and on-premise environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Capital Markets products, including FX, Equities, Derivatives, and Bonds.
• Experience in AML, Financial Crime, Surveillance, or rule-based detection systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with automation, testing frameworks, and integration with third-party systems.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in an Agile environment.

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on building a next-generation AML (Anti-Money Laundering) detection platformfor capital markets. The project aims to develop scalable data pipelines, rule-based detection frameworks, and scoring componentsthat identify suspicious trading activities across asset classes such as Equities, Derivatives, Bonds, and FX. You will contribute to the design and implementation of high-performance distributed data processing solutions while ensuring data quality, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. Working within an Agile environment, you will help shape a greenfield architecture and deliver innovative solutions supporting financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance.
