Job summary

Above And Beyond Aviation Services Inc. is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to design test cases, execute tests, and document results for complex software systems.

You will log defects, create mocks, and contribute to test automation using Cucumber, X-Ray, and Gherkin. A minimum of 2 years in manual or automated testing, with a solid foundation in databases and SQL, is required. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in a science-related field (preferably CS, math or economics).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a manual/automation tester.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and fundamentals of software engineering.
• Basics of relational databases and SQL.
• Basic programming skills in any high-level language.
• Proficiency in English sufficient to work with technical system documentation.
• Ability to analyze issues and work under time pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job description

Experience required

• At least 2 years’ experience as a manual/automation tester

• Knowledge of the basics of the SQL query language
• Basic programming skills in any high-level language
• Proficiency in English sufficient to work with technical system documentation
• Ability to draw logical conclusions (dealing effectively with new issues/problems)
• Ability to build relationships, teamwork skills, good communication skills
• Accountability for assigned tasks
• Ability to work under time pressure

Nice to have:
