Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Bielawa seeks an engineer for electrical testing in a dedicated lab environment. You will conduct electrical tests on welding machines and evaluate samples to EN standards, collaborating with R&D on product development.

You will build and adapt test setups, automate lab tests, analyze results, and prepare reports. Requires an associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and experience in a lab, with ability to read English documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical tests on welding machines and evaluation of samples via EN standards and internal procedures.
• Conduct EMC tests in internal and external laboratories and solve EMC issues.
• Perform environmental tests (Dust, Vibration, Mechanical, HALT).
• Read and interpret test results; prepare charts, graphs and reports.
• Collaborate with R&D and other Lincoln Electric Group teams on product development.
• Build or adapt test setups and equipment; implement lab improvements and automation.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical tests on welding machines and evaluation of samples via EN standards and internal procedures.
• Conduct EMC ( emission and immunity) test in internal laboratory and external laboratories.
• EMC problem solving.
• Conduct environmental tests (Dust, Vibration, Mechanical, HALT).
• Conduct robustness test strictly via procedures from HW team.
• Engineering tests not strictly related to procedures.
• Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results.
• Collaborate with the R&D team and other departments whole Lincoln Electric Group on product development.
• Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests.
• Implementation of improvements in laboratory tests ( automatization and optimalization).

Job Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical.
• Experience in a lab environment, preferably in electrical testing.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read English documentation.
• Skills: electrical testing, data analysis, technical documentation, multimeter usage, soldering, oscilloscope operation, driving license B (external lab testing).
