Project Description
The project is part of the Industrial Services – Energy, Utilities & Resources sector and focuses on global deployments of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) across factories and selling entities. The Implementation Manager is responsible for bridging the gap between central programme delivery and on-site execution. This includes developing and managing implementation and cutover plans, coordinating cross-functional resources, and ensuring operational readiness for go-live and post-launch support. The role requires close collaboration with central project management, change management, and functional teams to guarantee seamless deployment and early adoption across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans for D365 F&O deployments, tailored to local operational needs.
- Lead and coordinate site-level preparation activities across functions such as Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Contracts, HR, and Finance.
- Manage the full cutover planning process, including checklists, runbooks, and resource allocation, aligned with programme standards.
- Ensure technical and operational readiness by defining, tracking, and closing readiness tasks and dependencies.
- Act as the main liaison between central and local teams to align timelines, manage issues, and handle change requests.
- Collaborate with deployment leads and SMEs to validate business scenarios, testing, and legacy system transitions.
- Identify and manage site-specific risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID), escalating as necessary.
- Lead governance activities such as readiness checkpoints, go/no-go reviews, Early Life Support (ELS), and stabilisation planning.
- Support change management and adoption through communication rollouts, local training coordination, and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor implementation KPIs, SLAs, and post-go-live performance metrics.
- Contribute to post-deployment reviews and feed continuous improvement insights back into the programme.
