Sii Poland is seeking a Project Manager (f/m/x) to lead investments and modernization at one of Europe’s largest coke plants. You will guide projects in an active production environment, coordinate contractors, and liaise with production, maintenance, and support teams on-site in Zdzieszowice or Dabrowa Górnicza.

Strong electrical engineering background required. Responsibilities include schedule control, budget monitoring, risk mitigation, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the field of electrical engineering.
• Technical education, preferably in electrical engineering.
• Experience with industrial facilities and installations (natural gas, electricity, water, water-sewage).
• Proficiency in MS Project and ability to read technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive management of investment and modernization projects in an active industrial plant.
• Coordinating the work of contractors and collaborating with project teams.
• Monitoring progress, schedule and project budget; identifying risks and actions.
• Preparing reports and presentations on project status; attending meetings and steering committees in English.

Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager (f/m/x) for the implementation of investments and modernization in the field of electricity and industrial automation at one of the largest coke plants in Europe. The person in this position will be responsible for leading investment and modernization projects carried out in an active production plant, collaborating with contractors and representatives from production, maintenance, and supporting teams. As part of the team, you will organize meetings, control the schedule, and monitor project progress. The role involves on-site work in Zdzieszowice or Dąbrowa Górnicza. If you have experience in managing projects in the field of electricity and industrial automation and want to be responsible for the implementation of key projects, this offer may be for you.

Your tasks

• Comprehensive management of investment and modernization projects carried out in an active industrial plant
• Coordinating the work of contractors and collaborating with teams involved in project implementation
• Monitoring the progress of work, schedule, and project budget
• Identifying project risks and initiating actions to minimize their impact on investment implementation
• Resolving current technical and organizational problems arising during project execution
• Preparing reports, notes, and presentations regarding project status
• Participating in project meetings and steering committees, also conducted in English

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in the field of electrical engineering
• Technical education, preferably in electrical engineering
• Experience working with industrial facilities and installations such as natural gas, electricity, industrial water, and water-sewage infrastructure
• Proficiency in MS Project
• Ability to read technical documentation and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Very good command of English - B2
• Fluent knowledge of Polish

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of SAP
