Job summary

STAPHYT Group in Poland is recruiting a Technical Manager - Field Agronomist to oversee field experiments, ensuring GEP/GLP compliance and delivering high-quality data. You will coordinate trial planning, data management and reporting, collaborating with clients while supporting professional growth in a long-term partnership.

Location includes Makow or Gliwice regions; travel to trial sites may be required as part of field operations.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of experimentation.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with IT tools and software.
• Knowledge of GEP/GLP principles.

Responsibilities

• Protocol Preparation: Develop and validate trial protocols with clients per methods and requirements.
• Trial Planning and Logistics: Coordinate orders, deliveries and site selection for trials.
• Trial Implementation and Monitoring: Set up, conduct and monitor trials in line with GMP/GLP with SOPs.
• Field Operations: Carry out treatments, sampling, observations and harvest where needed.
• Data and Activity Management: Maintain databases, monitor progress, communicate with clients.
• Data Analysis and Final Reporting: Analyze data and prepare final client reports.

We're recruiting our next Technical Manager - Field Agronomist.

Main Tasks :

Set up and monitor tests according to the principles of Good Experimental Practice (GEP), GLP and SEEDS in compliance with protocols/study plans, Standard Operating Procedures, standards and decrees in force in your country.

• Protocol Preparation : Develop and validate trial protocols in agreement with clients and in accordance with applicable methods and requirements.

• Trial Planning and Logistics : Coordinate product orders, deliveries and allocation to trials. Select suitable test sites and ensure that the required equipment is available.

• Trial Implementation and Monitoring : Set up, conduct and monitor trials throughout the season in accordance with Good Experimental Practice (GEP), approved protocols or study plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable standards and regulations.

• Field Operations : Carry out treatments, sampling, observations and notations according to the required schedules, crop stages, application methods and instructions. Participate in harvesting and, where necessary, crop destruction.

• Data and Activity Management : Maintain internal databases and dashboards, monitor trial progress and team activity, ensure required regulatory declarations, and maintain regular communication with clients.

• Data Analysis and Final Reporting : Analyse and consolidate trial data and prepare clear, accurate final reports for clients.
