Job summary

HelloFresh in Warsaw, within HelloTech, offers a senior React Native role focused on pricing and plans across web and mobile. You will own mobile surfaces, work with a cross-brand codebase, and contribute to AI-assisted, high-quality delivery.

About the role

What's in the Box: Our mission is pricing and plans that flex with the customer, not against them. The squad directly impacts revenue across web, iOS, and Android—owning the surfaces our global brands depend on: weekly menu pricing, plan building, bundles, and the cancellation flow. When pricing logic or an experiment misbehaves across markets, we find and fix it. Our React Native codebase is shared across the engineering organization, with our squad owning the pricing and plan surfaces and the underlying backend services. Sitting inside the Consumer Mega Alliance, we build scalable logic across multiple brands (HelloFresh, EveryPlate, GreenChef, Factor, and more), currencies, and pricing models. This is a mobile‑first, senior role: most of your time will be spent in our shared React Native codebase shipping to iOS and Android. We are an AI‑first engineering team looking for a senior engineer who can own problems end to end, elevate our mobile architecture, and set the standard for testing and observability. At HelloTech, flexibility and cross‑functional collaboration are core to how we work. While this role is aligned to a specific Alliance, strong candidates may also be considered for opportunities across different teams or projects.

What you’ll do

The Recipe End‑to‑End Ownership: Lead feature delivery from technical design and implementation to phased rollout behind feature flags and post‑launch measurement.

Mobile Architecture: Build and refine high‑performance React Native surfaces across brands, focusing on modularity, offline resilience, and cross‑market price correctness.

Full‑Stack Fluency: Primarily work with React Native and TypeScript, while comfortably navigating our GraphQL APIs and backend pricing data when needed.

Quality & Observability: Maintain high test coverage (unit, integration, and Maestro E2E) and establish proactive observability (metrics, traces, alerts) for critical revenue paths.

Mentorship & Experimentation: Run and analyze A/B experiments, unblock mid‑level engineers through thoughtful reviews, and share mobile patterns across chapters.

AI‑First Delivery: Leverage AI tools across the entire engineering lifecycle—from scoping and design to coding and test generation—while exercising strong critical judgment on generated code.

What you’ll bring

The Ingredients: Core Experience: Senior‑level software engineering experience, including 2–3+ years of production React Native alongside TypeScript and modern React.

Architecture & Systems: Proven ability to manage complex state, modular architectures, and API integrations (GraphQL/REST) in large‑scale shared codebases.

Testing & Release Rigor: Hands‑on experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing (e.g., Jest, React Native Testing Library, Maestro), paired with solid CI/CD release hygiene.

AI‑Assisted Workflow: Proven track record of using AI tools to accelerate delivery, with clear insight into validation, error correction, and trade‑offs.

Autonomy & Collaboration: Strong cross‑functional partnership with product, design, and analytics, with the ability to drive technical decisions independently.

Bonus Points: Experience in subscription/pricing systems, mobile performance profiling, experimentation platforms, or observability tools (Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry).
