Job summary

iChoosr in Warszawa, Poland seeks a Tech Lead to steer the technical direction of our engineering team while contributing hands-on in .NET/Angular. You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Product team and other leads to deliver scalable, secure software that supports our mission to accelerate the energy transition.

You will balance leading by example with mentoring engineers, maintaining code quality, and driving best practices in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

• Technical Leadership: guide architectural and design decisions for scalable, secure solutions.

• Technical Mentorship: mentor engineers, review code, help develop technical skills.
• Collaborate with Product & Engineering Leadership to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Platform Sustainability & Improvement: evolve the engineering platform as the company scales.

The team you will join

At iChoosr, you will join a team of 165 goal getters with a proactive approach, strong sense of ownership and strong interpersonal skills. Your colleagues work across the US, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Poland, Japan and Macedonia. You will join the Partner Team that consists of a Tech Lead (you), developers, an QA specialist, a product manager and DevOps engineer.

As a Tech Lead, you are responsible for the technical leadership of an engineering team at iChoosr. In this role, you ensure the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software that supports our strategy. Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Product team, you guide architectural decisions, promote engineering best practices, and support engineers in solving complex technical challenges.

By balancing hands-on development with technical direction, you ensure the team builds reliable and future-proof solutions. You will lead by example, writing clean code and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement in an environment built for speed and scalability.

Your responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Guide the technical direction of the team, making architectural and design decisions that ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
• Hands-on Engineering: Actively contribute to development work, leading by example in the codebase (.NET/Angular) through high-quality contributions and helping solve complex technical challenges.
• Engineering Quality & Standards: Promote and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, documentation, security, and performance optimization.
• Technical Mentorship: Support and mentor engineers within the team by providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and helping them develop their technical skills.
• Collaboration with Product & Engineering Leadership: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineering Managers, and other Tech Leads to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Platform Sustainability & Improvement: Contribute to improving the overall engineering platform and architecture, helping evolve the system as iChoosr scales and modernizes its technology stack.
