• Lead the green field establishment and operations of a new Engineering Center in a global remanufacturing company driving sustainable automotive innovation.
• We are a leading international player in the automotive remanufacturing industry, committed to extending the life of vehicle components through innovation and sustainability. As part of our continued growth, we are establishing a new Engineering Center in Wroclaw dedicated to reverse engineering of automotive software – and we’re looking for the right person to support the realization and lead it.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of a completely new R&D center
• Oversee the procurement of lab equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of engineers and technical staff
• Reverse engineer automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Flexray, CAN FD, Ethernet)
• Analyze vehicle installation procedures for remanufactured components
• Collaborate closely with external partners and internal departments across Europe
• Compare and catalogue different software versions and communication protocols
• Lead team development, including performance monitoring and identifying training needs
• Plan and manage engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time and to the required standards

Employer requirements

• Strong technical background in automotive systems, electronics, or embedded software; 5 years experience is a minimum requirement.
• Leadership capability, ideally in building or scaling engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with automotive communication protocols
• Structured, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
• Fluent in English and confident collaborating across borders and functions

About the Role

• You will report directly to the Group Technology Director and be responsible for the full establishment of the new engineering entity – from equipment selection, layout, internal processes to building and managing a high-performing technical team. Once operational, your team will play a key role in analyzing and understanding complex vehicle systems and communication protocols to support the extension of our product range with more references which embedded software.
