GFT Technologies SE is seeking a Team Lead Fullstack Engineer in Kraków. You will lead a technology team focused on Model Risk Management and Operational Risk Management, designing, building, and supporting enterprise-grade applications with a strong backend in Java/Spring while contributing to React/TypeScript frontend as needed.

The role blends engineering, architecture, and leadership within Agile delivery teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of enterprise application development experience.
2+ years of technical team leadership experience.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST, Spring Security.
Hands-on experience with microservices and micro-database architectures.
Experience with ReactJS and TypeScript front-end delivery when required.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support backend services and APIs using Java and Spring.
Create solution designs and technical documentation including UML diagrams.
Deliver end-to-end features across backend and frontend components.
Implement microservices with clear API contracts and event-driven architectures.
Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to ensure production-ready platforms.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and delivery guidance to the team.
Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence.

Salary range: 17400-26700 PLN gross

What will you do?

Join a technology team within Risk & Compliance focused on Model Risk Management and Operational Risk Management solutions. You will design, build, and support enterprise-grade applications with a strong emphasis on backend development using Java and Spring technologies while contributing to React and TypeScript front-end delivery when required. The role combines hands-on engineering, solution design, technical leadership, and close collaboration with Agile delivery teams to build resilient, scalable, and production-ready platforms.

Design, build, and support backend services and APIs using Java and Spring
Create solution designs and technical documentation including UML diagrams
Deliver end-to-end features across backend and frontend components
Implement microservices and micro-database architectures with clear API contracts
Build integrations using event-driven architecture patterns
Develop workflow-driven capabilities using BPMN-based solutions
Ensure production readiness through logging, monitoring, resilience, and error handling
Develop and maintain batch processing solutions
Drive software quality through automated testing and code scanning
Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and delivery guidance to team members
8+ years of enterprise application development experience
2+ years of technical team leadership experience
Strong expertise in Java
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST, Spring Security, and Spring Profiles
Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with micro-database architecture
Experience with event-driven systems
Experience with ReactJS

Experience creating API specifications using Swagger or OpenAPI
Strong automated testing skills with JUnit and mocking frameworks
Experience supporting batch processing applications
