Job summary

Robert Bosch Group is seeking a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist to join our international team. You will perform tariff and customs classification for our product portfolio and work with cross-functional teams across multiple countries to gather the required technical information and documentation.

Fluent English is required, German is a plus, and experience with ERP systems like SAP, GTS or MIC will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international trade, business or engineering).
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
• Strong understanding of tariff/customs classification.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Advanced English proficiency (German a plus).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.

• Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to tariff schemes.

As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes.

Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed).

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholder to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.

Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.

Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, in particular on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions.

What You Bring:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering.

1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.

Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification.

Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.

Experience in export control classification will be a big asset.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.

Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
