As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes.
Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholder to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected.
Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, in particular on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions.
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering.
1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering.
Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification.
Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
Experience in export control classification will be a big asset.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus.
Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
