Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Systems Engineer to maintain stability and security of our information systems in a large enterprise setting. You will lead scalable infrastructure projects and optimize cloud and on-premise resources.

The role requires 5+ years in IT/Net/System Admins, strong Microsoft OS knowledge, and experience with GCP/AWS/Azure, IAM, and security practices. English communication and collaboration with IT leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent IT qualification.
• 5+ years of IT/Network/System Administration experience in large enterprise environments.
• MCITP with 3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• CCNA and IT security certifications (Security+ or CISSP) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft server/desktop OS and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and implementation of scalable infrastructure and applications aligned with business goals.
• Assess systems and recommend improvements for efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Provide admin and support for core infrastructure (Windows Server/Desktop, cloud platforms, IAM, M365, VMware).
• Manage IAM across cloud platforms to ensure secure access (Okta, M365, Google).
• Coordinate cloud infra focusing on cost, performance, scalability, compliance, security.
• Automate deployments, routine tasks, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Handle user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and SSO/MFA configurations.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and engineering to deliver timely support and documented resolutions.
• Build detailed documentation, diagrams, and procedures for systems.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and promote safe practices.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the build and implementation of scalable and reliable infrastructure and applications in alignment with business goals.
• Assess systems and recommend improvements to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Provide advanced administration and support for core infrastructure including Windows Server/Desktop, GCP/AWS/Azure, AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, Mimecast, and VMware.
• Manage IAM solutions (Okta, Microsoft 365, Google) across cloud platforms to ensure secure and seamless access.
• Coordinate cloud infrastructure focusing on cost efficiency, performance, scalability, compliance, and security.
• Automate deployments, routine tasks, and onboarding/offboarding processes to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Handle user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and SSO/MFA configurations.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and engineering teams to deliver timely support and document resolutions.
• Build detailed documentation, diagrams, and procedures for systems.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and proactively promote OHS practices.
• Engage in all elements of the Aristocrat Due Diligence framework to achieve zero compliance breaches.

What We Are Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent IT tertiary qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology/Network/System Administration.
• Proven experience in large enterprise environments preferred.
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) with 3+ years of equivalent Systems Engineer experience.
• CCNA and IT Security certifications such as Security+ and/or CISSP are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
• Basic understanding of switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting a Training and/or R&D environment is preferred.
• Customer-focused with outstanding verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and a self-learner approach.
