Job summary

Aristocrat Gaming is seeking a Systems Engineer to maintain stability and integrity of information systems supporting core business functions. The role emphasizes cloud operations and secure access across multiple platforms.

You will lead infrastructure builds, optimize performance, and automate deployments while collaborating with IT leadership to document resolutions and ensure compliance. Proactive learning and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT qualification.
• 5+ years in Information Technology/Network/System Administration.
• MCITP with 3+ years of equivalent Systems Engineer experience.
• CCNA and IT Security certifications are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead build and implementation of scalable infrastructure and applications.
• Assess systems and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Provide advanced administration and support for core infrastructure (Windows Server/Desktop, cloud platforms, AD/Entra ID, M365, Intune, Okta, Mimecast, VMware).
• Manage IAM solutions across cloud platforms for secure access.
• Coordinate cloud infrastructure focusing on cost, performance, scalability, compliance, and security.
• Automate deployments and onboarding/offboarding processes to improve uptime.
• Handle user provisioning, deprovisioning, and SSO/MFA configurations.
• Collaborate with IT leadership to deliver timely support and document resolutions.
• Build documentation, diagrams, and procedures for systems.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and promote practices.
• Engage in Aristocrat Due Diligence to avoid compliance breaches.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the build and implementation of scalable and reliable infrastructure and applications in alignment with business goals.
• Assess systems and recommend improvements to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
• Provide advanced administration and support for core infrastructure including Windows Server/Desktop, GCP/AWS/Azure, AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta, Mimecast, and VMware.
• Manage IAM solutions (Okta, Microsoft 365, Google) across cloud platforms to ensure secure and seamless access.
• Coordinate cloud infrastructure focusing on cost efficiency, performance, scalability, compliance, and security.
• Automate deployments, routine tasks, and onboarding/offboarding processes to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Handle user provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and SSO/MFA configurations.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and engineering teams to deliver timely support and document resolutions.
• Build detailed documentation, diagrams, and procedures for systems.
• Ensure compliance with OHS regulations and proactively promote OHS practices.
• Engage in all elements of the Aristocrat Due Diligence framework to achieve zero compliance breaches.

What We Are Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent IT tertiary qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology/Network/System Administration.
• Proven experience in large enterprise environments preferred.
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) with 3+ years of equivalent Systems Engineer experience.
• CCNA and IT Security certifications such as Security+ and/or CISSP are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft server and desktop operating systems.
• Basic understanding of switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting a Training and/or R&D environment is preferred.
• Customer-focused with outstanding verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and a self-learner approach.
