Job summary

Luxoft Kraków is seeking a skilled Embedded Linux engineer to work on real-time traffic enforcement hardware. You will program in C, optimize system software, and interface with GNSS, IMU, LTE devices, contributing to a vision-based AI platform.

The role emphasizes kernel-space work, driver development, and bring-up of ARM-based platforms. Collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams and rotation between projects are part of the Internal Mobility program.

Qualifications

• BS or MS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience programming in C.
• Strong system level Linux knowledge and experience (kernel space, drivers, Linux system structure, platform porting/bringup, embedded systems development).
• Scripting in bash and or python.
• Understanding of CPU, GPU and SOC architectures.
• Previous experience with I2C,SPI,PCI, MIPI,USB and Serial UART.

• Improve performance analysis infrastructure and tooling.

Project Description

We utilize a city's existing fleet and connected mobile devices to collect real-time data for traffic enforcement. Our advanced AI-driven, vision-based technology detects and analyzes traffic violations, assisting cities in achieving Vision Zero goals. Our team operates in Poland and San Francisco.
