Position

We’re currently looking for a candidate for our client in the pharma industry.

The initiative focuses on building a unified, organization-wide system aimed at digitalizing and standardizing laboratory workflows. The project seeks to enhance data quality, enable seamless integration with existing digital platforms, and promote collaboration through efficient data management and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles.

Work model: 100% remote from Poland

Tasks waiting for you

• Architect and design robust APEX-based solutions supporting the new in vivo LIMS platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design system integrations, and ensure alignment with the organization’s data strategy.
• Lead the development and optimization of database structures, data models, and ETL processes to guarantee efficient data flow and high performance.
• Oversee implementation quality by establishing best practices, conducting code reviews, and maintaining technical documentation aligned with ITIL and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying architectural enhancements, introducing innovative solutions, and coordinating major incident or problem resolution when required.

You will be successful in this role if

• You have at least 6 years of Apex applications development experience
• You have strong SQL and PL/SQL (Structured Query Language) and data extraction skills
• You have good command of Oracle DB and/or MSSQL Server
• You have basic command of UNIX
• You are able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• You have experience conducting large scale requirements and design sessions with business process owners
• You can ommunicate effectively with service Roche leaders (i.e.: Delivery Managers, Delivery Service Managers, Roche Support Lead, Lead Developer)
• You are taking the role of Problem Coordinator, Major Incident Manager if such problems occur in the Service
• You have ability to actively initiate and lead architecture and processes optimization and introducing new solutions
• You have 5+ years of experience designing, building and implementing data warehouse
• You have experience optimizing physical designs for effective ETL and maximum query performance
• You have experience with DB/ETL best practices
• You have experience working in Agile Development Methodologies
• You have expertise knowledge of ITIL standards and SCRUM processes (ability to behave as a ScrumMaster)
• You are c creating high quality documentation
• You are able to work independently with Business stakeholders
• You have high accountability and proactive approach toward supported applications and Business
• You have proficient English communication skills (B2/C1 level English)
