Supply Chain Planner (Warranty Parts)
Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and ensuring the seamless flow of goods through the supply chain? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planner to take ownership of planning, managing, and optimizing the supply of replacement parts—both purchased and manufactured in-house. This is a key role in ensuring product availability and delivering on customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Supply & Production Planning
- Develop and execute strategic supply and production plans aligned with forecasts and capabilities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to schedule in-house production based on inventory and customer demand.
- Analyze sales data to forecast inventory needs and mitigate supply chain risks.
Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal stock levels to fulfill customer orders while avoiding excess inventory.
- Monitor turnover rates, adjust reorder points, and ensure product availability.
Supplier Management
- Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of purchased components.
- Foster strong supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply issues.
- Monitor lead times and work with sourcing/logistics to mitigate potential delays.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with teams in Consumer Care, Logistics, Sourcing, Product Management, and Manufacturing.
- Provide regular updates to the Supply Planning Manager and contribute to cross-departmental alignment.
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement initiatives to streamline planning, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory control.
- Drive continuous improvement through data insights and team collaboration.
KPI Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on key metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and production adherence.
- Collaborate on strategies to improve performance across the supply chain.
Problem Solving
- Act as a go-to person for resolving disruptions such as delays, shortages, or supplier issues.
- Take proactive steps to minimize impact on production and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP/IBP experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
