Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Katowice, Poland, seeks a Telecom Network Engineer to support Subscriber Management solutions by designing, integrating, validating, and deploying core network elements across complex telecom environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, migration, testing, and acceptance while maintaining high quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecom solution design, integration, or deployment (must-have).
• Experience with Subscriber Management solutions and core network elements.
• Understanding of 3G/4G/5G networks.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Design and implement Subscriber Management network elements.
• Deploy, integrate, validate, and test activities.
• Prepare technical documentation (LLDs, CIQs, ATPs, MOPs).
• Support database migration and onboarding activities.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive resolution.

You role

Support the delivery of Subscriber Management solutions by designing, integrating, validating, and deploying core network elements across complex telecom environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure smooth implementation, migration, testing, and acceptance of solutions while maintaining high quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Your tasks

• Design and implement Subscriber Management network elements.
• Perform deployment, integration, validation, and testing activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, including LLDs, CIQs, ATPs, and MOPs.
• Support database migration and solution onboarding activities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and drive their resolution.
• Coordinate test execution and customer acceptance activities.
• Collaborate with delivery, support, and R&D teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Your profile

• Experience in telecom solution design, integration, or deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Subscriber Management solutions, including HLR, HSS, AUSF/UDM, SDL, EIR, MNP, and One-NDS.
• Experience with subscriber data migration and core network integration projects.
• Solid understanding of 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and network configuration.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies, including VNF, Kubernetes, Docker, or similar platforms.
• Basic scripting skills in Python, Shell, Perl, or Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with OSS/BSS ecosystems, cloud-native telecom solutions, or large-scale subscriber management transformations.
