Job summary

Xsight Labs, a fabless semiconductor company, is seeking a Student System Validation Engineer in the EPU team. You will contribute to defining, developing, executing, and debugging system-level functional and performance tests for a Data Processing Unit (DPU).

You will work closely with experienced engineers to validate hardware/software interactions, from architecture through post-silicon bring-up, gaining hands-on experience with accelerators used in modern data centers.

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ programming and fundamentals.
• Understanding of computer architecture basics.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with networking and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define functional and performance test cases based on system architecture.
• Develop and maintain C/C++ test software for bare-metal and Linux.
• Execute and debug tests on software models, emulation platforms, and evaluation boards.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and verification teams to diagnose issues.
• Contribute to development of functional models for EPU accelerators.
