Adtran, Inc. is seeking a Student to develop and maintain network element management software for the FSP3000. This full-stack role involves building responsive Angular-based GUIs and contributing to backend logic in modern C++ for secure, high-performance telecom systems.

Qualifications

• Student of Telecommunication or CS able to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Understanding of C++ basics and object-oriented programming.
• Interest in networking fundamentals and Linux environment.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend features in modern C++ for equipment management.
• Work with HTTPS-based secure interfaces and CLI tools.
• Integrate with network management protocols: REST, NETCONF (OpenConfig).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting across front-end and back-end.

We are looking for a Student to develop and maintain network element management software for Adtran FSP3000. This full-stack role involves building responsive Angular-based GUIs and contributing to backend logic in modern C++ for secure, high-performance telecom systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend features in modern C++ for equipment management.
• Work with HTTPS-based secure interfaces and CLI tools.
• Integrate with network management protocols: REST, NETCONF (OpenConfig).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting across front-end and back-end.

Requirements:

• Student of Telecommunication, Computer Science or similar faculty able to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Understanding of C++ basics and object-oriented programming (C++11/14/17/20).
• Interest in networking fundamentals and Linux environment.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Nice to have:

• Experience with RxJS, Angular Material, responsive design.
• Knowledge of multi-threading, IPC, and network protocols.
• Familiarity with Git, CMake, and debugging tools.
