Job summary

Abroadjobsineurope is seeking an experienced ironworker to install, repair, and maintain steel structures on diverse projects such as buildings and bridges. You will read blueprints, weld, cut, rig heavy components, and perform inspections to ensure safety and quality.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and general contractors to meet project timelines, follow safety protocols, and work at heights with physical strength and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience as an ironworker or in a related construction field.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in welding, cutting and rigging techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements and installations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install steel frameworks, girders, and structural components per blueprints.
• Weld and cut metal parts to create strong connections.
• Inspect structures for quality and compliance with safety codes.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on iron and steel structures.
• Work with engineers, architects, and general contractors to meet timelines.
