GOLDBECK SOLAR Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking a Project Director (m/f/d) to strategically own a portfolio of utility-scale solar projects, ensuring contract compliance, risk mitigation, and profitability. You will coordinate between project teams, management, and external partners to shape processes and performance.

The role requires an engineering degree, multi-project management experience, and strong leadership, with English fluency and hands-on governance of budgets, schedules, and resources.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a comparable field is required.
• Several years of experience managing complex energy, infrastructure, or solar projects.
• Experience with multi-project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of contract management and commercial project control including budget and P&L.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strategically manage a portfolio of large-scale projects (multi-project management).
• Ensure contract-compliant project execution and enforce contractual rights and obligations.
• Oversee customer and supplier contract management.
• Align projects with corporate objectives while managing budgets and profitability.
• Make strategic decisions on project conditions, budgets, and resources with executive management.
• Provide functional leadership to project managers and teams.
• Coordinate customer communication and stakeholders; report to senior management.
• Lead escalation management for critical schedule, budget, or resource conflicts.
• Oversee strategic resource planning across projects and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality, cost, and schedule across all phases; improve PM standards and governance.
