Job summary

KION Business Services Polska, part of the KION Group, is hiring a Category Buyer to drive MRO category strategy across the EMEA region and serve as primary contact for suppliers. The role emphasizes vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement with a focus on cost savings and sustainability.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in procurement, a Bachelor or Master in a relevant field, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in business, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in procurement/negotiations in international environment preferred.
• 4–6 years of professional experience in automotive or manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement category/sub-category strategy in the EMEA region.
• Review supplier base and optimize with preferred suppliers.
• Achieve indirect procurement saving targets and lead supplier negotiations.
• Report cost savings, cost avoidance and working capital improvements.
