Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a PMO professional in Katowice to establish and maintain project management standards, governance, and portfolio oversight across the organization. You will drive best practices, support decision-making through reporting, and promote continuous improvement across the project portfolio.

You will monitor budgets, milestones, and resource utilization, while preparing executive dashboards and KPIs to inform leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational, planning, and influencing skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project management standards, governance, reporting, and portfolio oversight.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Drive best practices and support decision-making through effective reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement across the project portfolio.
• Conduct project reviews and quality assurance checks.
• Support risk, issue, and dependency management across projects.
• Monitor portfolio performance and track progress, budgets, and resources.
• Prepare portfolio reports and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop executive dashboards, KPIs, and status reports.
• Assist with resource planning, capacity management, and forecasting.
