Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Staff Scientist, Clinical Development & Research to advance clinical evidence across NPD and LCM projects. Field-based role with cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs, located in Raynham, MA, West Chester, PA or Warsaw, Indiana.

The role emphasizes development of Global EGS/EDS strategies, protocol drafting, and regulatory submissions, with potential remote work on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Biological Science or related discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years related scientific / technical / clinical research experience.
• Background or experience in Biomaterials and/or Spine, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development of Global EGS/EDS to support NPD and LCM with cross-functional partners (R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, HE&MA).
• Develops and drafts clinical trial protocols, informed consents, investigator brochures, and other study materials with minimal supervision.
• Plans for study budgets and collaborates with Clinical Operations to manage investigator agreements and site contracts within FMV and vendor agreements.
• Delivers clinical programs on time, within budget, and in compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Builds strong collaborative relationships with the study core team and others to ensure study progress and issue escalation.
• Ensures registration on clinicaltrials.gov from study initiation through posting of results.
