Job summary

Us3 Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineering & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead to guide the design, delivery, and operation of enterprise technology solutions in Warsaw.

This hands-on leadership role combines software engineering, automation, DevOps and SRE practices to build scalable, resilient platforms; you will mentor engineers, define SLIs/SLOs, and drive CI/CD and observability across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in software delivery and team mentoring.
• Extensive experience across the full SDLC including development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Strong background in automated testing and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Own and improve end-to-end SDLC, from requirements and development through testing, deployment and production support.
• Develop and implement test automation frameworks and strategies to improve quality and release velocity.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing and continuous delivery.
• Apply SRE principles to improve reliability, scalability, availability and operational efficiency.
• Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Drive observability across monitoring, logging, alerting and performance management.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, security and operations teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across software engineering, automation and reliability.
• Strong software engineering background with experience leading technical delivery.
• Proven experience across the full SDLC, including development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Strong SRE/DevOps experience, including reliability, scalability and availability engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive experience with automated testing, test frameworks and quality engineering practices.
• Strong understanding of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and service reliability metrics.
• Experience with observability, including monitoring, logging, alerting and performance analysis.
• Proven experience managing production incidents, RCA and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and technical leadership/mentoring skills.
