What will you be doing?

• Design/develop software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise.
• Build scalable, high-performance data platforms that support healthcare data transformation and governance.
• Focus on software quality standards for all aspects of work; establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java within a microservices architecture.
• Work at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and product owners to deliver reusable, governed data products.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions to shape platform evolution.
• Assist in on-boarding new Software Engineers to the team.
• Work with Airflow, DataHub, Jenkins, Git, Snowflake, Azure, Kubernetes & Docker.

What is required to get the job done?

• 6+ years of experience in backend development using Java in enterprise environments.
