Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build modern aviation systems and microservices. You will contribute to private aircraft fleets, satellite broadband, and pilot tools, focusing on scalable solutions and robust APIs.

The role requires expertise in Node.js, React, and Kubernetes, with experience in cloud platforms like Azure. A hybrid work model and relocation support are available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• University education majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Node.js + TypeScript (NestJS) for backend development and ReactJS + TypeScript for frontend; Java/Springboot is a plus.
• Experience deploying, scaling and managing cloud-native apps with Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL (Elastic, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Mongo).
• Practical experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• Fluent in English and strong cross-functional collaboration.

• Architect and transform applications into scalable microservices.
• Design and build cloud-native systems; deploy with Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.

Are you an experienced Full‑Stack Software Engineer in Krakow looking for your next challenge? We are building a new Full‑Stack development team in Krakow. Your role will involve building modern apps for aviation systems – private aircraft fleets, satellite broadband, and tools for pilots, enhancing scalable micro‑services‑oriented applications that drive best‑in‑class services, including the Performance and Maintenance Recommendations. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days work from home model.

Responsibilities

• Application development: Re-architect and transform applications into scalable microservices, ensuring seamless operation.
• Cloud‑Native Development: Design and build scalable systems utilizing microservices architecture. Deploy applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes. Develop APIs to facilitate secure and efficient data exchanges.
• Data Management: Architect secure data management solutions with an emphasis on compliance and data security standards within a zero‑trust framework using Elastic, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like Mongo.
• Automation: Develop CI/CD pipelines to assure high availability and rapid deployment of features.
• Collaboration: Work closely with systems engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects to align on project objectives, facilitating a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• University education majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Node.js + TypeScript (NestJS) for backend development, ReactJS + TypeScript for frontend roles. Experience working in Java and/or Springboot is an advantage.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or similar.
• Fluent in English.
• A strong collaborative approach, with a proven track record of working with cross‑functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
