Job summary

Altimi is seeking a data-sourcing specialist to own speech data pipelines for an EU-based embedded speech project. You will manage vendors, set recording protocols, and ensure GDPR compliance while building robust audio and metadata pipelines in Python.

The role offers fully remote work with optional hybrid arrangements in Wroclaw, Poland, combining data governance, vendor coordination and hands-on data engineering to accelerate AI-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with audio/speech data.
• Familiarity with dataset versioning tools and practices.
• Knowledge of GDPR, particularly regarding biometric data.
• Experience working with external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end speech data sourcing process.
• Manage vendors: selection, negotiation, and delivery oversight.
• Define recording protocols and acceptance criteria.
• Perform quality control of delivered data.
• Build and maintain audio and metadata pipelines in Python.
