Job summary

Softeta is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build scalable data collection solutions and deliver custom datasets for client projects. You will use Python or Go and AI-assisted development tools, taking ownership from initial requirements through to delivery.

You’ll build crawlers and parsers, integrate with databases and data pipelines, review code, and adapt solutions as client requirements evolve in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Python or Go, or substantial web scraping expertise.
• Knowledge of web scraping, parsing, and headless browsers.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or similar databases.
• Practical experience with AI development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Independent ownership, clear communication, and a pragmatic approach to delivery.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to build scalable data collection solutions and deliver custom datasets for client projects. You will use Python or Go and AI-assisted development tools, taking ownership from initial requirements through to delivery.

What you’ll do

• Build scalable crawlers, scrapers, and parsers handling millions of requests.
• Own client projects from requirements to dataset delivery.
• Write reusable Python or Go code using AI-assisted development tools.
• Integrate scraping solutions with databases and data pipelines.
