Job summary

Exadel is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native backends using C# and .NET, with CQRS patterns and MediatR. You'll work with MS SQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, and deploy to Azure and Kubernetes, while collaborating with an AI-powered toolset including GitHub Copilot.

Strong testing with xUnit/Fluent Assertions and English at an upper-intermediate level are required. This role offers hybrid/remote flexibility in a global, AI-first environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend applications using C# and .NET 8-10
• Implement CQRS patterns using MediatR
• Develop efficient database solutions using MS SQL and MongoDB, optimized with Redis caching
• Build asynchronous, event-driven microservices using RabbitMQ
• Write clean, maintainable code supported by robust unit and integration tests (xUnit, Fluent Assertions)
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications in Azure Cloud and Kubernetes (k8s) environments
• Leverage AI-driven developer tools, including GitHub Copilot, to boost productivity and code quality

What You Bring

• Professional backend development experience with C# and .NET (8-10)
• Solid experience with architectural patterns like CQRS, Mediator pattern (MediatR
• Strong knowledge of database systems: relational (MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Hands‑on experience with caching strategies using Redis
• Practical experience with messaging systems and microservices messaging (RabbitMQ)
• Solid foundation in test‑driven development using xUnit and Fluent Assertions
• Practical experience with Azure Cloud services and container orchestration using Kubernetes (k8s)
• Openness to modern developer tools, specifically GitHub Copilot
• English level Upper-Intermediate
